Dr. Alison Parker, Ph.D., is a Private Practice Literacy Coach who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She owns Purposeful Learning Academy, a tutoring center in Brooklyn that focuses on tutoring struggling readers and dyslexic children. She has served as a classroom teacher and literacy coach for the past 26 years. School systems are failing our children!
